Half Discovered Wings - Announcement

Although no set release date has been announded, we can confirm that David's first novel 'Half Discovered Wings' will soon be available at Amazon.co.uk and selected stores!

We are very pleased to announce a special multi-media release celebration in the coming few months. First is a fully animated trailer that will be viewable from the site initially, and then on popular Flash sites YouTube and Newgrounds.com. This will feature the as-yet unrevealed cover of the novel, and the official release date.

As an extra-special treat, lucky PlayStation 3 owners will be able to play the official LittleBigPlanet adaptation of 'Half-Discovered Wings', which will be published in four instalments following the release of the novel. The release dates of the fully-playable instalments will be announced along with the novel release date, at the same time the first level is published. Each of the remaining levels will be made available on a bi-monthly schedule.

As of today, the first part of the LBP adaptation of Half Discovered Wings is now available to play! Explore chapters 1 to 8 (abridged!) of the book, meet Rowan, Teague and the Magus, and visit Pirene's sacred site! Don't forget to heart the level or add a comment if you liked it!

'Half-Discovered Wings - Blood and Blades" by DavidBrookesUK is now available for play!

The remaining three parts are already completed, and will be uploaded to the LBP community every two weeks. Part Two will be coming November 1st, so keep an eye out!

Good afternoon all!

Part 4, "Half Discovered Wings - The Beating of Wings" is online to play at LittleBigPlanet! This concludes the short adaptation of the book but hopefully without too many spoilers - we would definitely advise you all to read first, play second though!

In other news, the long-awaited HDW Flash trailer is very, VERY close to completion, and should be available to view on the site and - if our illustrious author can figure out how - YouTube and various social networking sites.
